Garlanding of the Bust of Rabindranath Tagore was organized by the CCIS to commemorate the 153rd Birth Anniversary of Nobel Laureate Rabindranath Tagore. The event took place on the 7th of May 2014 at the Main Library premises of the University of Colombo. Indian High Commissioner, Director CCIS, Vice Chancellor, Deans and the Heads of the respective departments of the University of Colombo was among the distinguish panel.
