The Centre for Contemporary Indian Studies (CCIS) conducted a forum on higher educational research opportunities in India for the young lecturers (permanent/temporary) of the University of Colombo on the 20th March 2015 at the CCIS Meeting Room.
The forum was facilitated by the Prof. Ashwani K. Sharma, Visiting Chair/CCIS.
Eighteen participants from the disciplines of International Relations, Political Science, History Demography, Economics and Sinhala were among the gathering.
Dr. Sandagomi Coperahewa, Director/CCIS also added his thoughts to the discussion.
It was a successful forum where participants were guided in all aspects required to be known when applying for their higher educational research opportunities in India.
