The Centre for Contemporary Indian Studies (CCIS) organized its monthly forum in collaboration with the Faculty of Arts, University of Colombo on 17th January 2023 at 2.00pm on the topic, ‘Current Tax Reforms in Sri Lanka’.
The resource persons of the seminar and discussion were Mr. Eranda Kodithuwakku (Senior Deputy Commissioner, Large Entities Appeal Unit, Dept. of Inland Revenue), Mr. N. R. Gajendran (Senior Tax Consultant, Gajma Tax Consultants), Prof. Sirimal Abeyratne (Senior Prof. in Economics, Dept. of Economics, University of Colombo), Prof. K. Amirthalingam (Senior Prof. in Economics, Dept. of Economics, University of Colombo) and the discussion was moderated by Dr. Pradeep Pieris.
Around 30 participants participated onsite and many others participated via Zoom. This event was organized by the CCIS under the guidance of Dr. U. P. P. Serasinghe (Acting Director, CCIS).
