In commemoration of the 162nd Birth Anniversary of Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore, the Centre for Contemporary Indian Studies (CCIS) organized an event on 9th May 2023 to garland the bust of Gurudev Tagore at the Main Library, University of Colombo. The event was successfully held at the main Library premises of the University of Colombo. His Excellency Gopal Baglay, High Commissioner of India to Sri Lanka and Senior Professor H.D. Karunaratne, Vice Chancellor, University of Colombo, graced the occasion as the chief guests.
